Michael Stogsdill, a native of Portland, Oregon, found his passion for fitness through participating in athletic events from a young age. He excelled throughout his high school and college career, graduating from Warner Pacific College with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Biology in 2012. After working at L.A. Fitness as a Membership Counselor and a Personal Trainer for 24 Hour Fitness and Boom Fitness, Michael learned the business and became a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE). Using his wealth of experience, he opened and was the founding member of Intrinsic Training in 2015 and has been growing his tribe ever since.
Michael has a great ability to build rapport with people and work with clients who need modifications for injuries. He has also had great success working with beginners in fitness. His high energy, genuine passion for helping people, and humor make him a great fit for your fitness journey!
Jake Harwood is a native of Oregon and found his passion for fitness in his mid 20's when he was dealing with depression, anger, being extremely overweight, eating poorly, and had a very low self-esteem. His lifestyle change has had a positive impact on him as a role model as well as an incredible father.
Through his journey, he has gone on to compete in Men's Physique competitions, competitive Powerlifting, and run a marathon. He specializes in functional movement, functional strength, weight loss conditioning, sports Performance, and Mobility as a Certified Personal Trainer through AFAA.
Katie Wright moved to Portland, Oregon shortly after graduating from The Ohio State University in her hometown of Columbus, Ohio. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology while concentrating on her own wellness goals in her spare time. Her passion for fitness was ignited after spending years overweight, depressed, and pessimistic. Since taking control of her behaviors, she has managed to lose nearly 100 pounds and completely transformed her life. Her infectious, positive, vibrant attitude has motivated many of her clients, family, and friends.
She started her training career as a Master Trainer at LA Fitness. There, she worked with clients of all ages, genders, abilities, injuries, and limitations. Many of her clients would describe her as professional, knowledgeable, excellent, tough, patient, empathetic, inspirational, humorous, energetic, unwavering, and personable. She is highly recommended by many as she is able to adapt her unique style for all fitness levels.
Steven Nguyen was born in Portland, Oregon and has dedicated his life to serving others through martial arts and fitness. He is a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) certified personal trainer and found his passion at an early age. Steven specializes in Muay Thai Kickboxing, a form of combat sport that incorporates the whole body. Muay Thai has a rich history and is now mainly used as a form of fitness, self-defense, and competition.
With his love for the arts and a perpetual student mentality, Steven enjoys seeking opportunities to continue his passionate studies of martial arts in order to better educate his clients. He is a kind and genuine person and carries out his duties with professionalism, integrity, and respect.
